Contract Management Information

The Municipality of St. Augustin has adopted a Contract Management By-Law providing measures to:

 

  1. promote compliance with applicable laws designed to combat bid-rigging;
  2. ensure compliance with the lobbying, transperancy and the code of Conduct for Lobbyists adopted under the act;
  3. prevent acts of intimidation, influence, peddling or corruption;
  4. prevent conflict of interest situations;
  5. prevent any other situation likely to compromise the impartiality and objectivity of the bidding process or awarding a contract;
  6. oversee the making of any decision that has the effect of authorizing the modification of a contract;

Anyone intending to enter into a contract with the Municipality of St. Augustin is invited to familiarize themselves with the Contract Management By-Law, and to contact the General Director if they have any questions or concerns in this regard.

 

In addition anyone with information concerning non-compliance with any of the measures contained there is invited to report the matter to the General Director.  The latter will, if necessary, take appropriate action or refer the complaint and documentation to the appropriate authorities.
